New York governor Cuomo says health workers that he asked to come to NY during the pandemic have to pay state income tax, even on income that they make from their home states that they're paid while in New York. Clever move to collect badly needed revenue in NY's financial crisis. Well played Cuomo.

Gotta hand it to Cuomo, that was a clever move. Budget problems - get some more revenue in the state, by any means necessary. Lure the rubes in with an appeal to their good nature, then hit them hard with taxes.

That's the New York way, and they're proud of being complete sociopaths like this. Seriously, meanness is a virtue there.
