It does, but not entirely. I would argue that the censorship on voat is still far lower than Reddit; but of course it does in effect exist. What we have here on Saidit is definitely better than voat, for now. But the propagandists are just now starting to set up camp and they have a lot of tactics to exploit these types of message boards. You are going to start to see a lot of bot comments, board sliding, and wall of text crap.

I would like to see more tools for users to customize their experience. For example have friends groups and black lists that allow you to bump the comments of people you think make intelligent comments more visible and filter out the spam. Give the option to have your friends group's lists effect your experience so you don't personally have to filter every spammer. Allow you to have a friends tab next to top and hot etc that will be the top rated posts according to your friends group.
