Certainly Good News

A man from London has become the second person in the world to be cured of HIV, doctors say.

Adam Castillejo is still free of the virus more than 30 months after stopping anti-retroviral therapy.

He was not cured by the HIV drugs, however, but by a stem-cell treatment he received for a cancer he also had, the Lancet HIV journal reports.

The donors of those stem cells have an uncommon gene that gives them, and now Mr Castillejo, protection against HIV.

In 2011, Timothy Brown, the "Berlin Patient" became the first person reported as cured of HIV, three and half years after having similar treatment.

Are they not counting Magic Johnson? He acknowledged he had HIV in the 1990's when it was supposed to be a death sentence. Yet, here we are 30 years later, he looks completely healthy and runs the L.A. Lakers.

This is interesting.

It was my understanding that a definitive test for the presence of HIV didn't actually exist.
The fine print of each HIV test states that further testing should be performed to identify the presence of HIV.

Supposedly, there's no scientific paper that proves HIV causes AIDS. No one ever took credit for that discovery (very unusual in the scientific community).

Wow.

I agree that it sounds to crazy to believe, so don't take my word for it.

I'd love to hear about the scientists who made the conclusive connection.

The Nobel prize winning biologist

Are you interested in the reason for this understanding?

Here's a decent 5 min Interview that scrapes the surface of the facts.

'HIV test a crime, AIDS 'cure' killed a whole generation'

For a deeper look at the history/facts I suggest this BBC documentary.

My mind was blown. It appears to be legit.

Millions murdered by the medicine they were prescribed.

The truth is crazier than fiction...

Thank you for asking. No, I am not interested in your reasoning. You indulge in strange conspiracy theories.

I indulge evidence theories, based on physical reality. does not depend upon popularity, or consensus

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kary_Mullis

In recognition of his invention of the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) technique, he shared the 1993 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with Michael Smith[4] and was awarded the Japan Prize in the same year. His invention became a central technique in biochemistry and molecular biology, described by The New York Times as "highly original and significant, virtually dividing biology into the two epochs of before PCR and after PCR."[5]

Kary Mullis agrees with this evidence theory on the documentary.

He investigated it for years, trying to identify the research, and concluded that it was never scientifically proven..

The only evidence he ever found was a CDC press release announcement that alleged a connection.

Mullins sacrificed his career for the truth, because the grant money dried up.

It's well worth looking into.
