I bet the school had authorized the use of the cameras. Similar to the spying iPads sent home for homework.

There ought to be a way to take bets like yours. Some sort of web site that holds the money and makes the call.

I'd make quite a bit of money on what appear to be "Longshot" bets.
Also, if the school didn't sanction this then the perp would have been arrested.
It's fairly easy to make these predictions if you understand how the system works (in contrast to how we're told it works).
