When a psy-op is successful it's hard to distinguish from comedy. They wanted to get rid of communists. In the process they ruined everything good about capitalism ;-)

Well in the end it's just a charade to keep people from realizing how much tax they actually pay and how little they get for it. Those in charge care very little about who appears to be in charge. They only care about getting their cut and having plenty of slaves.
