I think that most people are really on the same line of thinking, which poses a problem for them. Other centrists such as libertarians have been attacked for ages or subverted by weirdos.

They've painted them as extremists in TV shows or in media around rehashing Waco or stuck people in their party as candidates who just look like wackadoodles.

Apparently, realizing that govt should be limited, makes you an extremist.

When a psy-op is successful it's hard to distinguish from comedy. They wanted to get rid of communists. In the process they ruined everything good about capitalism ;-)
