Agoraphobia is a mental and behavioral disorder, specifically an anxiety disorder characterized by symptoms of anxiety in situations where the person perceives their environment to be unsafe with no easy way to escape. These situations can include open spaces, public transit, shopping centers, or simply being outside their home. Being in these situations may result in a panic attack. During my fogged up big pharma poison days I stayed in so much that somehow I developed some agoraphobic tendencies. Sometimes I still get it, but in a minor way. With me it's more like procrastinating going out, finding excuses not to, and putting it off to the last minute - or missing it (ie. when stores close). Oddly, once I'm out and on my way there's no problem. Also, when I'd rather not budge only happens alone, so when someone shows up to do something there's never a problem.
