So you're implying the FBI caused the recent terror plots? Any reasonable evidence for this? I've not even read this as a conspiracy theory.

As for what happened under J. Edgar Hoover, that's rather astonishing.

There have been problems with the CIA (Iran/Contra, drugs, developing wars & regime change internationally, &c).

The FBI, the CIA, the NSA, Homeland Security, FEMA, the Secret Service, Federal Marshals, and many more agencies, organizations, and positions have been used by corrupt parties for the past seventy years to commit legal and quasi-legal sins, all in the name of furthering globalist control (what I often refer to as the GovCorp, because these people can be found anywhere someone brings corporate ideas into government... so, everywhere)

You ask for evidence like we could take these people to court, or something. You are living in the world they created for you. Now, I have family and close friends with family who are involved in one or all of these groups. I'm not saying there is some grand conspiracy involving every single member of each group, but to blindly ignore the subtle loopholes they've used to legally consolidate power is just plain foolish. The FBI and a few other groups could come and take either of us away right now, and no governmental agency or watch-group would do a damned thing about it, even if they were lucky enough to get proof.

Which is why it's important to change the leaders of these organizations as much as possible, by arranging relatively democratic elections of public servants who will hopefully challenge any potential corruption. What you note is corruption - among other problems - that must be challenged with government oversight, regulation &c. Each agency has been more or less corrupt in different eras. The extent of corruption around the world is exacerbated by authoritarian and nationalist governments that try to reduce democratic representation, agencies, regulation and oversight. Whereas I agree with your points, I am concerned that there is an increasing tendency to believe right-wing news medias' approaches to simplify what we know about government agencies, in order to reduce govenment and thus regulations on corporations that help protect important sectors of society (environment, education, small businesses, social programs, healthcare, &c). When there are problems with the FBI, I hope there will be enough funding for associated government agencies and individuals to challenge the FBI. In the meantime, I hope they catch the fucker who stole Pelosi's laptop (and other criminals).

"that must be challenged with government oversight, regulation"

Bullshit. This has gone on long enough. You want the establishment to fix the establishment. What a fantasy you live in, socks. Seriously, wisen up, fella.

That's how the American experiment was arranged, and then rearranged in the early 20th century under FDR and some of his predecessors.

If you want a revolution, consider the consequences.

If you want to wait for an establishment-fix, consider the consequences.

I don't want a revolution. I want a peaceful country of healthy-minded individuals. Sometimes we don't get what we want.
