Ironically, there are much more suicides during the weektime than on weekends.

Depressed people still have a lot of work to do during the week. No time for suicide.

but then Saturday morning hits, all quiet, no work to do, alone with your thoughts, then BAM! No hope left.

how is that 'ironic'? Is English not your first language?
