Technically, it might be true. Statistically, some of those dudes were gay and maybe after the war, were more willing to exhibit behaviors associated with those dispositions.

probably like 5% of them were gay at most. and even less trannys and definitely not out in the open if it's WWII military. and not black or in a wheelchair.
