CBS news ran a segment on the shooting and did not mention the shooter was transgender at all. They're not just ignoring the pronouns, they're pretending she wasn't trans.

For real I'm confused. This was a male who transitioned to a female or a female who had transitioned to a male? I'm thinking the latter.
