I was also surprised by Turkey.

Includes all of Turkey and beyond. I'm not sure what year most of the amphitheaters were built though

Asia Minor was a cradle of civilization for centuries, for example during the Kingdom of Pergamon. Then everything went backwards after the Turks arrived and turned the area into a barbaric state of pillage and slavery.
