This is an establishment source who tries to systematically discredit ancient sources exactly in the way Asha Logos describes, but there's nuance, and it's nice to get admissions from such a figure. It's highly informative regardless. If you simply take the information at face value, you'll learn about an elite class that practiced ritual human sacrifice. The past can teach us about the present, and this is an important piece of the puzzle.
