As a person who does not attend any form of organized religion, and does not agree with any religious doctrine, this is actually troubling for two reasons. First that the government is interfering in peoples ability to organize in groups under their religious freedoms. Second that the church goers are not resisting this.

It only becomes an issue when government singles out religion. The general ban on public gatherings that doesn't exempt churches is far less of a concern. You can still practice your religion over zoom if it's important to you.

This isn't about religion, I don't give two fucks about their religion. This is about destroying their ability to organize against the illegal lock downs. Similarly destroying the unions wasn't about the individuals pay checks, it was to debase their power.
