I read the law. It's pretty similar to the Bush/Clinton assault weapons ban in its structure, but more aggressive in what it defines as an "assault feature." Those goofy thumbhole stocks people used to circumvent the national AWB no longer pass muster. A foregrip that completely encircles the barrel is also considered a "feature" now, which I think is new.

The law also bans the SKS by name. Guess Bambi can rest easy!

I can't imagine living in a state that did such things to me. Hopefully this law gets slapped down upon judicial review.
