Can't they buy that shit at the grocery store and take it home? I'm not paying $9 for a beer I can buy at the store for less than a $1 a can.

Pubs are an essential part of culture in the UK, to go and unwind with a pint with friends or colleagues, it's a home away from home where you can have a good time. The real hit to the wallet comes at events where bringing your own alcohol is prohibited, such as concerts, sports or some festivals. Too often these days I pay £7 or £8 for a low quality beer to enjoy some monster trucks or a mediocre band.

I'd just use the THC vape pen.

Shun that toxin alcohol in whatever for it is imbibed in. Do not send even MORE wealth to the elite-class filth owning the alcohol creation and distribution systems.

People should start underground beer brewing clubs.

Yes really. Its actually quite easy to brew beer I did it on a small scale myself. Like 20 gallons at a time. Don't let the globalists turn the UK into the kind of socially barren dystopia that is the United States.
It's something I'd like to try, I've seen kits for sale but I'm unsure which recipe to follow and have only a rudimentary idea of how to get it started.

Yes do it! As a beginner try any of them. They are all pretty good and they come with instructions. Just pick a beer you like the sound of. At the same place they sell those kits they sell all the equipment. You need a large container, and the tubing with the water trap device. The people in there will help you.
