My guy, you have consumed way too much propaganda. Modern farming has become so efficient we pay farmers not to farm because one years over production would collapse the food economy with shear glut.
When we stop no grow farm subsidies and start offering incentives to open new farms you can start worrying about famine.

The propaganda works the other way, lulling the gullible masses to sleep, leading them to believe everything is going to be fine. As in, "Just two more weeks." Remember that?
They imply, "you don't need a savior, because we have everything under control." They also want you to believe the economy is doing well, and we will soon go back to "normal". Of course, most people don't want to believe that this world has an end.
I am not worrying about famine, or anything else, because I fully embrace the Savior, Jesus Christ, and he feeds his own. He keeps my heart and mind in peace. And he will help all who call on his name now, before the time of grace ends.
