Funny enough I was in Walmart today too and an elderly woman beside me in the produce area picked up a lemon and said omg I never would have believed I would see the day, 65 cents each for a damn lemon!

Interesting....We will be hearing more about increased prices and scarcity of goods. Be prepared.

Tell me about it, tried to order some large bags of rice & beans from Costco, just in case it comes down to that and... THEY WERE ALL OUT.

So what will you do?

Since you have been recommending that we buy silver, why don't you invoke its power now? Will Costco give you rice and beans in exchange for silver? If they are out of stock, we know the answer is no. During a famine, silver will provide no satisfaction for your empty belly.

The cow farmer will give me cow meat for silver. This is a fact.

And no, they weren't out of stock, that was my mistake for looking at the wrong part of their site. They have 2 grocery store sites.

I think scarcity and high prices are not the same thing. No matter how bad inflation gets our ability to grow food won't dissappear. There will not be a shortage of food, it will just become a much bigger portion of people's expenses.

That just means they will have to cut back on other expenses.

You say there will be no shortage of food, and yet we are entering a famine.

Good weather is necessary for food production, but destructive weather abounds: floods, droughts, fires, plant and animal disease, frost and hard freezes, hail, scorching heat, tornadoes, hurricanes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, locusts.... Plants do not produce good harvests in these conditions.

Farmers now face fertilizer unavailability, which will drastically reduce yield.

Government regulations have reduced the human workforce allowed to actually do the farming and food processing work.

And now war and border lockdowns are halting the movement of goods, so that food cannot be shipped from the farm to the mouth.

Famine is part of the plan, to starve the world into submission, to take the mark of the beast in order to fill their bellies one more time.

The official news reporting gives false hope that everything will go back to normal. We have already left "normal" behind and now God's judgments fall on an unrepentant people. We will never go back to "normal" and the famines are here and will worsen, by far. People will be so hungry they will be eating grass and the bark off of trees, eating their pets, and even eating human flesh.

My guy, you have consumed way too much propaganda. Modern farming has become so efficient we pay farmers not to farm because one years over production would collapse the food economy with shear glut.

When we stop no grow farm subsidies and start offering incentives to open new farms you can start worrying about famine.

The propaganda works the other way, lulling the gullible masses to sleep, leading them to believe everything is going to be fine. As in, "Just two more weeks." Remember that?

They imply, "you don't need a savior, because we have everything under control." They also want you to believe the economy is doing well, and we will soon go back to "normal". Of course, most people don't want to believe that this world has an end.

I am not worrying about famine, or anything else, because I fully embrace the Savior, Jesus Christ, and he feeds his own. He keeps my heart and mind in peace. And he will help all who call on his name now, before the time of grace ends.

High prices does mean scarcity, the supply cannot meet demand as effectively as it did before. Not that anyone is going hungry, like bread is also free if you're willing to stand in line at a church or homeless shelter in any developed country. Though poor countries might have people going hungry.

Yeah, the law of supply and demand is in effect.

Many people are hungry, but they are mostly unreported by mainstream media. (Madagascar comes to mind.)

Scarcity does cause prices to go up, but it is not the only factor in price. In this case prices are NOT going up due to any change in food availability.
