      Many muslims come from the same warm climates, but still retain a nuclear family structure.

      I think it's fair to say it's a cultural issue, since similar divides exist in each continent.

      The Arabian Peninsula may be hot but it is inhospitable and tons of tribes/clans roamed that were hostile to each other. Essentially you needed to be in a collective to survive in that environment

      But why did this affect blacks disproportionately?

      Feminism/Matriarchy

      Blacks are basically the pet project for Liberalism. Make the Men feel as weak and gay as possible, while spoiling the Women who are known to support the government in the highest numbers.

      Look at the 2020 election results, and Black Women make up the highest numbers of any group to support Biden (90%).
