What's unfortunate here is that anyone on Saidit would support these attrocities. You should see Russian TV at the moment. It's all lies about liberating Ukraine. This is what you get with dictatorships. This is the result of fascism. This is where your white-nationalist ethnostate authoritarian propaganda will lead. This post at Saidit is an example of the worst that humanity has to offer: the promotion of authoritarian states and leaders, which continue to destroy the lives of many, for the sake of a handful of evil people.

This has so far not even come close to a single one of the Western democracies multicultural "adventures" in the last few decades. Russia would have to kill literally tens of millions of Ukrainians, displace tens of millions, and then rape every national asset for the profit of liches in suites while impoverishing the nation before you could drag out your slosh brained moral outrage with any credibility.

Those of you promoting this propaganda are complicit in ruining the lives of innocent people. None of this will benefit you. It's cancer. It will have an impact on you, personally.

If you wish to use a whataboutist argument, at least make an effort to understand a smidgen of history. Perhaps this is, however, an appropriate kind of response one can expect in DAR.

You're comparing the modern oligarchic multicultural multiconfessional capitalist state of Russia with white nationalism and fascism. You're implying it's (Russian authoritarianism) producing more immoral results than Western liberalism. Never mind that the link between modern Russia and "white nationalism" is extremely tenuous, your argument necessitates comparison ('whataboutism") because it's claiming moral superiority of one system over another.

But if you want to just look at this at isolation and feel good about reading from script that's fine. I feel perfectly comfortable arguing against the modern liberal capitalist abominations of the US and EU in either isolation or in comparison. That's how you develop a more nuanced and complete view of the world. But don't assume I am comparing anything. It's simple: Putin's authoritarian regime is ruining the lives of innocent people. The rest is noise. Don't listen to the noise. No reasonable person wants this, in or out of Russia.
