I believe the shift in representation of POC and the initiative to be more inclusive to them in society in general will be a gain.

If you really want to change the topic to race and environmentalism I would point out that white America will likely vote in Gov Abbott, the My Pillow guy or Trump (again), all staunch opponents of environmentalism. What more of a sign do you need that white folks don't give a shit about environmental matters?
