Reject the New World Order like every sane person's future depends on it.

This is an excellent strategy.

Even little words of encouragement go a long way in someone's life who's being boiled alive.

Totally agree. For example if I see someone wearing a conservative message on a t-shirt or bumper sticker, I'll give them a thumbs-up or compliment on it. Sounds minor, but every bit helps.

You should have at least 6 months of food, i.e. enough to last however long winter is in your area. Might also be good to get a vacuum sealer and extra bags.

Gas, don't forget jerry cans if you have them. Also propane if you have cylinders.

re: saving webpages, this software (free), will download an entire site.

Thanks. Any recommendations on what vacuum sealer or bags to get?

This post is a more practical version of this thread: https://saidit.net/s/debatealtright/comments/8cui/thought_experiment_how_a_dissident_could_survive/

There are many other topics I could have covered here, such as gardening, solar power generation, back-up communication, or cryptocurrencies and precious metals, but I wanted to focus on immediate, fairly inexpensive, and low-effort things someone could do to increase their self-sufficiency.

You can easily do all of these today with just a few text messages, some research, and a shopping trip.

So Biden is going to mandate vaccine for companies with more than 100 employees. This is effectively a de defacto mandate for most Americans: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/biden-set-to-announce-vaccine-mandate-or-weekly-testing-for-companies-with-more-than-100-employees

I broke down was vaccinated yesterday, simply so that I can go to the gym. It is a lie that I have a choice not to as my socalled civil liberties are dilated and would not even have access to a health club for fuck's Sake.

simply so that I can go to the gym.

If that's all it took to get you to take it why didn't you just do it when it was offered? Also how many shots will you take until you decide that's enough?

Richard has been on DAR for quite a while and has made quality posts and comments. If he is a shill it's been a very very long con. I do think there are some genuine people in the alt right that have fallen for the shot. It's a reasonably small portion but sad none the less.

      [–]TheJamesRocket 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (0 children)

I share in your feelings. Richard sounds like a cool guy, and he always makes interesting comments. Its sad to see such a bright person succumb to the plandemic. It is becoming more and more apparent that the Deep State is using advanced techniques of psychological warfare to promote the vaccines. They have refined it so such a point that we might actually consider it a form of mind control. If they are able to get political dissidents (who know about the corona hoax) to take the vaccine, then that is pretty goddamn scary.

I think we are rapidly approaching the point where society is evolving into a bifurcated state of the vaccinated vs the unvaccinated. We will have two separate populations that either succumbed to the plandemic or resisted it. The vaccinated populace will be compromised mainly of conformists, and the unvaccinated populace will be composed of dissidents. This will be the political landscape on which the fate of humanity will be decided. It is freedom vs slavery.

You can lift at home if you are rich, or have a home and can afford a true gym. Just doing exercises with dumbbells is not going to cut it. Once you get to a certain level your body plateau s out doing the same erercises. A decent gym presents a plethora of of different machines and exercises so I can switch it up.

Also, as I wrote before, I live in a fairly spacious 1 BRM apartment with a woman and two cats. Things are a little cramped but not too bad for NYC. Serious, vigorous weight training is not an option here. The neighbors and landlord would not appreciate it either.

There are risks to the vaccine. I weighed those risks against the certainty of what would happen if I again fall out of my routine.

Deal with the devil? Mark of the beast? You are talking to a secular, atheist right-winger in the blood and soil, ethno nationalist mold of the European far right. Although a woman like that religious fanatic mom Melissa in Florida might reveal to !e at long last the splendor do your Christian lord... (Check my post history).I bet she goes from prissy church goer to absolute freak for her lucky husband behind doors..

That stated,I have a different more mainstream calculus of the risks involved. I highly doubt this is some sort of mass collective Jonestown style murder suicide on the scale of hundreds of millions. And if it were we are fucked anyway so what does it matter?

I am indeed concerned about possible long term side effects, but feel the risk is sufficiently low. Covid is not an entirely new disease as coronaviruses have been known for a long time.

As I have stated before, I am against the vaccine mandate but assessing the political will here locally as well as what the courts have done, along with the unlikelihood of SCOTUS distinguishing or overturning Jacobson v Massachusetts, vaccine mandates are coming. At the very least, nothing is going to stop this mandate from being enforced this Monday.

I respect and understand why others would choose differently and ask that others respect my decision in turn. This is a really stupid purity spiral to get entangled in.

Some of you are acting like I am confiding some sort of interracial fetish for black women or something.

No it isn't. There are infinite ways to maintain health outside of giving a globalist-tyranny-promoting gym your money.

I have already addressed this a number of times. I owe neither you nor anyone else any explanation.

          [–]Richard_Parker 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (19 children)

why didn't you just do it when it was offered?

First bc I did not and still do not want to take the vaccine. But it is pretty clear they are going to keep pressing and, with Jacobson v Massachusetts, there is not much to stop them. Here in NY there is strong support for this vaccine. The hearing that was this past week did not result in a TRO.

I want to go to the gym. When I balance that against the relatively low risks of the vaccine, I reluctantly relented. I do not like, I resent it, but sometimes you have to know which battles to choose.

          [–]send_nasty_stuffNational Socialist 2 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 0 fun3 insightful - 1 fun -  (13 children)

why didn't you just do it when it was offered?

Because the government in coordination with big business has lied to me about JFK, 9/11, Race differences, Jewish influence, Sandy Hook, Carbohydrates, Xenoestrogens, Sun exposure, The holocaust, Hitler, The Titanic, The Iraq War, Osama Bin Laden, Swine flu, and about a thousand other things. Why should I trust them about taking a vaccine for a virus that only kills a fraction of a percent of people under 60? The entire thing smelled like a rat from the start and within weeks there was data and evidence that it was another power play by globalist Jews and nothing more. That's why I didn't take the jab then and never will.

But it is pretty clear they are going to keep pressing

Which should make you even more weary and suspect about the whole thing.

Here in NY there is strong support for this vaccine.

There's also strong support in New York for the idea that black people have the same average IQ than white people. What's your point?

I want to go to the gym.

I bought kettlebells and I built a Olympic ring pullup bar in my backyard. I get that you are being inconvenienced. I have a brother that took the jab because he was afraid he couldn't travel. (He only goes on a trip once every 5 years or so but never mind that). But this should make you and my brother both stand back and think critically. Don't you think it's interesting that a government that doesn't really care about you and has done shitty things to the populace for years all of a sudden REALLY wants us all to get the vaccine? Isn't it weird that they've lied about this thing every step of the way? Doesn't that send huge alarm bells up?? And my question still stands. At what point has the government crossed the line and it's no longer about inconvenience and it's about your life and liberty. Where's the line. How will you feel if they put the non vaxxed into camps? Are you still going to take your next booster know that people like me are being locked up for not taking it? I mean if they can lock up people with 7 shots but not 8 then they are willing to basically just genocide whoever they want for whatever reason. This isn't about stopping a pandemic it's about ethnic warfare and setting up a global slave control grid. Nothing except for Unity will stop their advances. Giving in because it's inconvenient is how we lose everything. It's how they pick us apart and break us for good and they know it.

          [–]Richard_Parker 1 insightful - 1 fun1 insightful - 0 fun2 insightful - 1 fun -  (8 children)

I agree it is a window to allow for Chinese level of control, but still not sure it is likely. As for the vaccine itself I think over 200 million have taken it, side effects have happened and it could be much more we whooshing but are swept under the rug. I am guessing not sinxe there is no incentive for the government to go Jonestoen on its entire populace.

What's your point (re political supper her)

There has not and will not be any meaningful resistance go it here where I live. I waited to see if the judge instate. Island would issue a TRo, no dice. And even though there are things that should distinguish Jacobsen I do no think it will happen. In other words, resisting this here where I live is as much folly as trying to get AOC defeated here where she incredibly popular.

I will assess and reevaluate if some booster shot becomes mandated, which I doubt. Hopefully g that time we will be out of here but I doubt that too.

Finally, I live ina msomewhst spacious one bedroom but with a woman and two cats. It is just not feasible to workout here, not to mention you still can't get s lot of stuff. Nothing I would do would have the same range of erercises I need to do what I need to do.

I do not begrudge anyone for resisting this bullshit but it is just not feasible for me and my situation.

Functional trainer with two of the towers, a bench, curlbar and some dumbells. There are some that fold up, but sturdiness is questionable. You don't want one of your cats to fiddlefart around the equipment and get squashed.

          [–]Richard_Parker 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (6 children)

It is certainly something to look into in case there is another lockdown but right now access to the gym takes priority..

          [–][deleted] 4 insightful - 2 fun4 insightful - 1 fun5 insightful - 2 fun -  (5 children)

As long as you still have it. Being able to workout and mingle with other people there probably helps with feeling cagey from being stuck inside all this time too, I would think. You've already felt forced into getting their stupid shot, may as well take advantage while you can.

          [–]Richard_Parker 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (4 children)

I do not mingle much. I listen to hardcore, aggressive industrial, aggrotech, martial industrial, on my headphones and high resolution player keep my distance. I have had some run Ina with the woman who manages it so I just go there to do my workout. Something like 70 percent of people here voted for AOC, so I pretty much know I am not among friends or well wishers. Really need to escape.

I will say a few women do not dress modestly, essentially just a bikini top and these yoga pants that just painted on. A lot of other people fiddle faddle around on their phones, such that they go ten minutes between sets, no to me too occupy the machine or station I need.

          [–][deleted] 2 insightful - 2 fun2 insightful - 1 fun3 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

I mean, you're probably not going to find anyone there that would outright share your political beliefs, but it does make it easier to go between sets when you have someone there you know on at least a jovial level. Even better if they have the same weight range.

The sports bra things or actual bikini tops? Seems risky to dress like that when you're working out. My favorite thing would be groups of friends that would come in to "work out" completely smattered in makeup, and just dick off on the machine that I wanted with the lowest possible weights between chatting, then having to wait on all of them to do the same thing. It reminds me of people stopping to talk in the grocery store in the narrow aisles. Depending on what you and your wife do, you might consider it best to move away from there. Cost of living in that place couldn't possibly make it worth it to stay unless y'all have family/good networks.

I wanted to say "sorry to say" because it is true. I don't mean to be insulting. I didn't say it because I figured you for a guy with some salt.

This is the hill to defend. That is all. You can get the vaccine and be a good person. Hell, someone I might even enjoy spending time with. However, at what point would you say no? I don't understand why anyone would give villains a platform and entertain their lies, and I would challenge the thought process of anyone who chooses to do so. You might still be a good person, but you have unwittingly chosen to not fight them on this one issue, which really was a vitally important issue, and one with lasting repercussions. That isn't doom and gloom. That is just the reality of our abusive relationship with these psychopaths.

I respect that but given where I live--which was the real mistake on my part---it is just not feasible. Nor is it going to do anything, not here, where these assholes actually complain that people like me are not forced to wear masks while working out. DeBlasio's vaccine mandate is popular here, and I do not see the courts overturning it either.

          [–]Richard_Parker 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (3 children)

Yes. My gym was actually cool about it, and only started asking last week, informing me I have till the 13th to get my first jab. Other gyms like NYSC were turning people away even before the the city government was enforcing it. Folks on the Astoria subreddit were applaudimg this decrying that the gym I go to has not been checking, stating rumors that some employees were not vaccinated.

A lot of people in my neighborhood are also even complaining that most are not wearing masks--in the gym while exerting themselves violently. This even though masks are no longer required (nor should they ever have been). The point is that the majority here support this and will report institutionz they suspect of not complying. I had considered this might just be a ride, so that any member inclined to tattle-tale would assume everyone had been asked so it's been enforced (while quietly not following up on people who did not support proof of Vaccination by the 13th). I mulled over that possibility but when the judge refused to TRO this thing, as courts have not stopped universities from forcing vaccines, I made the decision to get vaccinated. I know some people can do routines outside of a gym but I need different exercises to stop from plateauing. It is also want I am used to and even then I have fallen off the horse after about a year of training. Hopefully not this time. It really sucks. All I want to do is workout. And since keeping fit is one of the best tools people have to be safe from Covid, I marvel that the strategy is to prevent people from working out (first from lockdown and now this). I really hope these assholes will leave me the fuck alone after this.

Just a heads up, I wouldn't take the opinions of a subreddit as anywhere near reflective of the opinions of the general population. I sincerely believe that many subs are astroturfed, or at least massively skewed towards leftist opinions.

By any chance are you able to move out of NYC? Or are you tied down there?

Also, which vaccine did you take? In a month or so you might consider making a post if you've had any side effects or anything

          [–]Richard_Parker 1 insightful - 2 fun1 insightful - 1 fun2 insightful - 2 fun -  (1 child)

I'd love to get out but not as easy as it seems. My woman has a pretty good job. She talks about finding a new one but family matters and laziness have gotten into the way.

Believe me, living in Astoria, that subreddit is an accurate reflection of people here. I am living in AOC land and her popularity here is unassailable.

Btw, I am seeing more and more people wearing masks in the gym and outside while walking to and back again.

I took Pfizer. So far only felt mild soreness in my arm and a very subtle tiredness. Biggest problem has been the mental process in of expecting somethng to happen. When my lady was vaccinated she feltmsick again for a day, but she was also sick for twelve days. I was sick for three, so maybe my body is just better tuned to fighting this thing? I have no idea. It is not just the flu but not does it warrant this level of hysteria and overreaction either...
