There seems to be a trend in the United States of lowering or removing standards because non-whites can't perform well enough to meet them. When this happens, I rarely see a discussion on the long-term impact of lowering standards or how absurd it is to remove accepted standards to cater to a specific group. I thought standards and requirements existed for a reason? Will this trend lower the quality of everything? How much further are we going with this?

The whole concept is bizarre to me. If someone isn't meeting the requirements, they have to work harder. It's like some sort of intentional failure and race to the bottom scenario from that movie idiocracy.

All POC should be against this type of thing. What they are saying, literally, when they do these types of things is the POC are not capable of being as intelligent as whitey. Affirmative action is another one. Yeah, you got a job because you black, Latino, whatever....not because you were the most qualified (in some cases not qualified at all) for the particular position. Essentially saying the same thing, they POC are not capable of meeting the same job qualifications of whites.

Why should they be against it? They're getting real material benefits from these sorts of initiatives, that's more valuable than any notion of pride for them, and they simply believe they're less capable because of racism rather than innate ability.

Yes, exactly. They just double down on lies. These standards were created by whites to reinforce white supremacy. They also believe or pretend to believe, that any non-white underachievement is 100% caused by systemic racism and oppression. Non-whites literally can't do anything wrong that isn't caused by whitey.

The modern Left wont talk about it for obvious reasons, but Mr. Jared Taylor did a good video/article write up on how what you described is dangerous.

Like how a certain black doctor was allowed a medical license despite being woefully unqualified, and he actually got a patient killed on the job.

I wouldn't go near a black doctor. Of course there are good black doctors, but I have no idea whether my black doctor is a real doctor or an affirmative action doctor.

It's an interesting symptom of social decline. "Positive discrimination" is ultimately still discrimination and so it makes very little sense for egalitarians to support, based on perceptions of persisting intergroup inequality, standards for some groups and not others.

Indeed, regardless of the fact that many White egalitarians consistently support whatever disbenefits them because of the erroneous assumption that they have far more of everything good than they actually do, and thus that their trampling into the dirt is both well deserved and necessary for the realization of the elusive "true equality" they so desperately seek... which in reality just serves as a quasi-moral justification for their own marginalization and eventual replacement. After all, you have to pass equality to reach supremacy.

The end result is likely no standards for anybody. Standards perpetuate inequality if they can't be met by all people equally, so Clown World will do away with them for all groups (non-whites bar Asians first, Whites and Asians later on).

These northwest white liberals are on a different order entirely. You would think sufficient dose of their insane policies would wake them, as well as a sufficient dose of diversity. As someone who grew up in the Seattle area, I really doubt that.
