As soon as some black families moved in, racism and racial fears led many whites, the ones who could afford it, to leave.

Amazing someone being able to write this and not realize that those families/people who left were absolutely right. The alternative was to stay and be murdered and robbed while living in a prison of your own making. "Really showed those racists!"

Compelled to rob and rape and murder. Absolutely heartless for the actual victims that were killed and terrorized.
