Absolutely horrific and entirely unnecessary is how I would describe it. Highly relevant today as this problem is no longer only local but becoming national and eventually international. Book is available online and what is detailed in the thread is only a fraction of the total stories. Really reads like living in a weird bizarro world where people adamantly refuse to name the problem.

Some highlights:

Elderly Whites targeted for robbery, rape and murder

In 30 years time the city went from a robust community that was 98% White to a crime-ridden cesspool that was 12% White (sociologists puzzled how this could happen)

Loss of community caused people to retreat from community engagement, a positive feedback loop accelerating decline (just like Putnam would later note) Anecdote

"While spending pages on the extreme fear felt by white residents, the author seems to attribute their precautions (locking doors, barring or even boarding up windows, never going out at night, etc.) to a kind of racial phobia inherited by white southerners. then he ends with this"

Someone in the comments of the twitter thread posted a review by a leftoid teacher, WHO LITERALLY ADMITS that the blacks and latinos are racist against Whites and constantly attacked and abused both him and White students, then STILL defends the blacks and says the book is racist. How retarded can a person be?

Keeping in mind that the author of the book is a cuck who blames Whitey for black "cultural enrichment"

As soon as some black families moved in, racism and racial fears led many whites, the ones who could afford it, to leave.

Amazing someone being able to write this and not realize that those families/people who left were absolutely right. The alternative was to stay and be murdered and robbed while living in a prison of your own making. "Really showed those racists!"
