In my country public and private institutions demanded people have the vacinne. I have no problem with the masks but demand the vaccine so soon was absurd

To clarify, adults and then teenagers were allowed to have the vaccine later. There was never a federal mandate here.

We certainly had private institutions requiring their workforce be vaccinated. And public institutions, by that mechanism, for that matter.

People have a legal right not to be at risk at work here, so having your workforce not infecting each other had less potential liability for employers.

But you could quit if you had more fear of needles than pandemics.

Vaccines are pretty good at having people not die. And there was (and is) a lot of death from Covid.
