On select subs, that's all that's allowed lol. Reddit is like 80% DNC-only subs, and 10% RNC-only subs and then 10% hobby subs and other subs. It's pretty well segregated. Finding moderate discussions is rare, and the tone seems to entirely depend on which subreddit you're in
