Just gotta get used to it. You will never get an apology, you will never get any recognition, nobody will ever admit that you were right. In fact, when called out most people walk back and say things that actually make it sound as if they never opposed this theory. More gaslighting.

You just have to manage your expectations of other people, which means get rid of 98 percent of them. You have to take them for what they are capable of doing, which is almost nothing.
