"Established Titles"

The Redacted show/team is new to me. Thus far I've seen nothing wrong with their content. Selling out to common advertisers on YouTube (like VPNs) is disappointing to hear about, and knocks them down a notch, but I recognize they have to pay their bills. I'd say I'll be more vigilant but I remain skeptical about everyone, including my fave sources and don't always agree 100% with anyone's ideas or their way of presenting things. I can take in information without having to agree with it. Perhaps in time, like many others, I'll grow less interested in following them. Or maybe they'll be among the few of my lasting faves who haven't yet been censored from YouTube.

I like their content too. Though now i'm way more wary, and making sure I keep my skeptical hat on in case I notice anything 'off' or misleading or whatever.

Just because it's common doesn't mean it's a good excuse not to go through due diligence when selecting what you slap your name on.

I realize they need to get paid, and that's fine. It was just pretty gross the way he was going on about it too. Like "oh let's all buy some and we'll all take a trip and go visit scotland and all of us can sit on our little patch of land and combine them and have a big BBQ party." paraphrased of course, but that was the gist of one of his snake oil sales tactics I caught a while back.

There's only a few voices out there that i've noticed who are careful enough with this sort of thing. Maybe i'm pickier than most. It's just real sad to realize that the entire world has basically sold out and go along with all this nonsense and i'm really sick of it, but oh well, that's the new normal, I guess.

Russel Brand was also one who disappointed me recently. I like a lot of his message, and he's doing some good work, but he's advertising to buy physical gold from some company now.... annd.... yeaaaah...... ;/ I don't agree with that either.

I could make a lot of money if only I didn't have to worry about these crazy morals and ethics as much as I do.

They may be a long con. Time will tell. I also don't trust ex-media, ex-intelligence, ex-military, ex-cops, etc.

1,000,000%.

Lately they've pushed other things like stocks, precious metals (I think), etc. Very aggressive whoring.

Maybe i'm pickier than most.

More folks should be. But what to do about it other than complain loudly? Maybe we need to produce better products and have them advertised and cross-supported.

Agreed.

We're few and far between.

Yep. Always in the back of my mind, even when getting good information that I might not be able to find easily anywhere else... I always wonder... or worried rather that the 'Alternative' media I watch might be the controlled counterbalance to the existing narratives. Like if the same source REALLY wanted to control a specific topic of conversation in the public space, they would control both sides. The mainstream one and the "opposing" arguments, all the while inserting or ignoring certain important details, or misdirect or whatever other advanced propaganda techniques that exist today.

So I worry when things like.... say... Breaking Points appear out of nowhere and onto my radar and seem to be very very popular and they say all the kinda things that I like to hear... But clearly they're both entrenched in the same kind of circles as the mainstream and political sphere and had been for a while I imagine. I'm not saying they're CIA plants, but I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Why is it so darn difficult to find truth? ;/ I hate it.

Eventually they expose themselves. I was just thinking of that example: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krystal_Ball on Breaking Points, and formerly The Hill and corporate news.
