It's fake news, the Pope can't be arrested because he's an absolute monarch. Even if he had charges levied against him in Italy, he could just hide in the Vatican until he dies and never come out.

Yeah he has a literal army that can prevent him from being arrested.

Can you imagine what it must be like to have 1000 people sworn to defend your ability to not be arrested?

If he was in some trouble I imagine we'd see him stop traveling and stop doing group meetings with the masses and staying in the Vatican buildings.

I think such "news" is spread on purpose to discredit people who seek alternative sources of information instead of the usual mainstream (and controlled) media channels.

With today's Papal activity. Which contains a video showing the Pope giving a talk from the Vatican library.

If the Pope had been arrested, the video would show an outraged Cardinal, complaining.

my grandmother saw this exact page. conservative beaver. who the hell is that? i had to explain to her that she needs to find out who her sources are and if they are reliable before she can form an opinion if it's true or not. she can't just go clicking on random shit she found on google and not know who it is.

i really didn't want to find myself in a situation where i have to teach her about the tree octopus...
