The Trudeau family was prominent in Canada for a long time, similar to bush family. That's the problem with nepotism. Sometimes a kid is just born retarded. Sometimes that's just how they want it, easier to control.

His brother michel Trudeau was murdered at age 23. Probably for being too smart. Or some sort of sacrifice.
