Joe Manchin of West Virginia is right.

When enough people lose faith in the ballot box, they reach for the anmo box.

The willingness of government officials to weaken confidence in the integrity of the election system is a serious concern. Under no circumstances should this kind of legislation be rushed to vote. It probably shouldn’t enough be considered at all.
