Reddit always downvotes and censors women's comment UNLESS it "happens to be coming from a trans woman". As an Asian woman, I have received countless extremely racist and sexist insults from trans activists, just for not wanting to act like the submissive anime girls in hentai porns. Such type of hatred is 100% allowed on Reddit and my impression of their site is just WTF. Reddit's definition of "hate speech" is a bloody joke.

Identity politics: wamen most affected?

Oh cry me a river. Women are fine so long as they don't go up against somebody higher than them on the progressive stack. You won't get censored for saying whatever you like about white guys. When the BLM circus dies down you might once again be okay to criticise black men. Gay men are definitely still open season for feminists.

It just happens that feminists and their left-wing identitarian friends managed to cook-up an ordering of the progressive stack that allowed men in dresses to climb above them. The problem is that wamen, and I use that to distinguish feminists from women, lost their top spot in the oppression olympics. The trick is not see this as oppression of wamen. It's an offshoot of the identitarianism of which feminism is a part. Ditch the collectivist mentality and you'd find there are many people opposing the transgender fad along with with larger ideology that groups everybody in to groups of oppressors and oppressed.

I'm a rad leaning feminist and this does not speak for me. This current brand of Liberal feminism that is backing trannies, touting sex work and bdsm as empowering is complete and utter bs and extremely damaging especially to young girls who've only grown up in the age of social media.

Women ARE a collective and we're systematically shut down on Reddit, and now are beginning to get shut down on women's issues because trannies are apparently more important (though they make up less than 1% of the pop). I read a quote recently that said "women are the only people who are not centred in their own liberation movement" lol.

I'm also a leftist and this ridiculous TWAW cult mentality don't speak for me either.

In the instance of trans people the narrative the TRAs are trying to push is that if you're not so woke and open minded that your brain is falling out, that you're a transphobe and akin to a right wing bigot etc. Neither of those are accurate. We've lost middle ground where one can still be left leaning but oppose ideology that is basically fantasyland, without being labeled a TERF, fascist or whatever other shit they can think of to try and shut you up instead of engaging in discussion.

However I do agree with you in that the average person who doesn't live online and has half a brain is against the trans circus, or hasn't even considered it. The problem is that the loud TRAs who DO live online seem to be the ones who are influencing policy changes, and this is dangerous.

Totally agree. This movement is degenerate and damaging. The idea that anything goes, that women should behave sexually like men, that sex with children is fine, and that men can become women only serves to damage people and undermine society. That’s the point of it.

Welcome to the world straight white guys, particularly centrists and conservatives, have occupied for at least a decade. Personally, feminism has been the chief ideology ruining the things I enjoy. Whether gaming, TV, film, comics, or tech - feminism has led the identity politics brigade. I note that many now part of the schism were perfectly happy until weirdo men in dresses beat them at their own game.

Definitely. The left has created an environment in which minorities and women are the new feudal lords/ladies. Granted the latter recently got downgraded to baronets. I’d be very happy to see this identitarian nonsense ended so we can go back to treating people as individuals.
