I met Alan Rusbridger once, he’s not very bright. The Guardian is known for being a retirement home for British spooks. Its board of directors were all hedge fund managers and media execs during the Blair years. Then in 2008 it was bought out, at arms length, by US tech barons (the Scott Trust became the Scott Trust Ltd).
