Benji got his fur clipped! He had clumps of matted fur on his back until my wife took him to the groomer. They sedated him and clipped the fur off. Before, we did not want to touch his fur, but now my whole family think he looks much cuter and he is surprisingly soft.

Good advice, but no matter how much we brushed him, the matted fur would not go away. I have wanted to limit his food intake, but with 5 other cats in the house with him that want to eat, it's hard to limit his food while letting the other cats have food.
