When 'Government'
– in its present form: 'Representative / Indirect Democracy' –
is used / weaponized to
disenfranchise the citizenry – depriving the citizenry of their rights
e.g. do not allow the citizenry
- security
- justice
- their livelihoods
- the freedom to decide for themselves
- the right to question the decisions of "their representatives"
i.e. when Indirect Democracy is used to usurp the citizenry
then, to restore and ensure real Self-Determination
– to return to the citizenry their rights and
– to safeguard against usurpation - present and future,
Direct Democracy is the proper, logical answer
AND NOT
- non-compliance / become ungovernable
- appeal / protest for their rights
- changing politicians
- sidetrack/fringe self & others with rabbithole truths / solutions
whilst leaving the means of usurpation intact
and remain firmly in the hands of the usurpers
through the corporate, top-down, hierarchical, pyramidian paradigm.
The citizenry of Cherán resorted to this answer in 2011.
