    Not that it's necessarily wrong, but I have to wonder if the first commandment is a pious addition to the original saying. Notice how Paul only seems to know about the second one.

    It's because you need the second one in order to be good at the first one.

    You have to wholly practise this in order to understand it, too, so there is no further explanation than this.
