This is filled with obvious lies and half-truths. It's misleading, to say the least. Almost all main points are not accurate. This writer is Editor-in-Chief who should have had an editor overseeing him, to correct all of the obvious mistakes. This article gives CN a bad reputation as having a stupid editor. To go over all of the misinformation here would be annoying, as it's also mixed in with some OK points. The editor should lose his editorial role. Some howlers:

1) No, the leaks don't spell the end for Ukraine

2) This is obviously false: "U.S. officials have been lying about the state of the war to the public and to reporters who have faithfully reported their every word without a hint of skepticism."

3) This has never been the case: "reporting about Ukraine has been a pack of lies: namely that Ukraine is winning the war and is poised to launch an offensive that will lead to a final victory. " It's reported on a regular basis which territories are lost and which marginal gains have been made, and the loses civilians and soldiers.

4) "The long-planned Ukrainian offensive will fail miserably." We obviously don't know that.

5) "uber-Establishment 'Foreign Affairs'." BULLSHIT

6) "Why did the Times, the Post and other establishment outlets publish stories about these leaks if they severely undermined their own credibility?" Because it's important to know about the dangers of the influence of social media on federal staff.

7) "Moscow would be unlikely to negotiate at the end of the Ukrainian offensive." We don't know that. There are discussions of potential negotiations periodically.

8) This is false: "Moscow was ready to cut a deal with Kiev one month after Russia’s intervention but the West, with its strategy of lengthening the war to weaken Russia, quashed it." Putin demands 1/5th of Ukraine at every meeting (the areas richest in mineral wealth). There is no strategy to lengthen the war, because Ukraine and the allies cannot keep throwing meat bags onto the front line for the slaughter, as Russia has done.

MSNBC and CNN are not sources of information, neither are the WaPo or the NYT.

Only pro-Russian sources can be trusted to tell the truth about this illegal immoral imperialist terrorist white supremacist war for oil waged by white Western imperialist terrorist scum against a proud, strong, brave, and sovereign Asian nation that is 100% responsible for the defeat of Adolf Hitler and the allied victory in World War II.
