It takes 2 to tango. The bottom line is, the Soviet Union wanted to create a communist utopia where all the workers contribute to pay for everything everyone needs. The U.S. Government wanted to destroy that because they did not want the U.S. working class to see what they could have had if it wasn't for the greed of their capitalist overlords. That was the premise for the entire cold war, the destruction of Vietnam, the arms race and pretty much everything else that happened in the 20th Century.

The US ruined the Communist Utopia! Hah! Problem is communism doesn't get rid of kleptocrats. Same greedy fucks you get in capitalism, but the state is All Powerful. Dissent is not allowed. Total shit hole. I'd rather die in nuclear fire than live under that sort of regime.

If I gave you 4000 Monero to distribute equally would you dutifully parse out half a million dollars to others, taking only one equal share? Even if you would, would the next guy? Greed plagues us regardless of political system.

Dude. Communism is a system of 100% parasites living off the 100% of parasites, feeding off themselves into an ever-deepening hole. Capitalism is terrible because it's a system with 1% parasites living off the 99% host, but it is not by any measure nearly as bad as communism.

Capitalism is far more corrosive to the foundations of society, and that's why the Jews have put their weight behind it. The countries that were behind the Iron Curtain are uniformly more "based" than those that were to the West of it.
