I suspect that the suppression of public sentiment in the current legacy media environment may be leading not only to left and center left parties feeling falsely comfortable until it's too late, but that it also may be spurring right and even center leaning voters to put more effort and consideration into voting for parties on the right as a protest, feeling like there's nothing to lose.

These censors who think they can shape peoples' minds by bending the public discourse are far too confident in themselves.
