The US occupation of Syrian territory is the most blatant act of aggression in a modern world filled with countless acts of aggression. Why? The US has never even once tried to justify their occupation. No excuse given. Ever. They just did it. Period. They did it because they could, and they stay there because they can. Who needs to explain yourself when you're the country that has the power the US has? Who's going to kick them out? The most pure example of "might makes right" available in today's world, and it continues to this day. This is why the US bitching about Russia's occupation of Ukraine rings 1000% hollow. The US is the most evil imperial power today. What the Russians are doing is wrong, but they are pikers compared to the blatant evil in which the US has engaged now for 75 years.

“Syria votes against this draft resolution and rejects the West policy of hegemony that aims to prolong and stir crises, spread chaos, consolidate selectivity and impose unilateral coercive measures,” Sabbagh added.

Yo America! Why are you helping this country again? You should have pulled out of Syria

We're not helping Syria. We don't give a shit about Syrians. We're occupying it's eastern oil fields so we, and not Assad, can use them.
