Keep in mind the main strike was the ballistic missiles, which were successful in defeating the joint US / Israeli defenses.

Exactly. The drones and vintage cruise missiles the West shot down were decoys. They may not even have been armed.

It's the hypersonics that got through and hit Israeli military targets -- just as in the Ukraine.
