"Managed to avoid dying of C19 or (mostly) of the toxic injections that followed? Not to worry, it was just a trial run. We're still coming for you."

Sidenote: with Reddit increasingly blocking VPN users on the 'www' domain, because Reddit isn't done getting ever shittier, it might be better to crosspost to old.reddit which isn't (yet) touched by this new stupid decision.

Or even better, to make the original post here and crosspost there, which would avoid all the bans, blocks and other Reddit bullshit, past present and future :)

(up until they start hardbanning saidit of course)

This week on my Android tablet "reddit.com" has become pretty much unusable. I think they switched to "new Reddit" with its awful user interface, and they won't let me select the desktop version. So on my tablet I switched to "old.reddit", which works for now. I can still use "reddit.com" on my GNU/Linux desktop if I use my old version of Firefox. One thing I like about SaidIt is that the user interface is uniform across my platforms.

Them going after old.reddit once they were done with their API shit was pretty much a given. They want everybody to be on the version on which they can control and filter everything.

With SaidIt giving us (limited) access to the sub stylesheet, it makes it easy(-ish) to have the desktop UI 'workable' on mobile.

It's the same with old.reddit, but who knows how long this subdomain will still exist at this point...
