No matter what, I am unable to fault anyone, Jewish or not, for choosing non-violent departure from Nazis. Especially if it was the only realistic way they and their children could survive. I don't have enough keyboard bravado, I guess.

Those who wanted to flee the incoming holocaust, sure.

Not sure if this applies to Zionists who wanted to gain an economic advantage when moving to Palestine with the plan being, from the start, to violently "remove" Palestinians from the entire area.

And in any case, it doesn't justify Zionists now using the holocaust they avoided to justify doing one of their own against Palestinians and smear anybody criticizing that as antisemitic. Which I think is the target of this particular tweet. Not those who were "just" looking for a way to flee.

Germany leaving their brethren to suffer the Holocaust and now they play the Holocaust card. Bitch, you left.

Have you ever looked into this history? I have.

Whomever controls the past, controls the present... Right?

They certainly controlled our perception of the past.
