Cornell who?

I got an email from some Democrat org. this morning asking me for a contribution because RFK, Jr was now "officially" running as an independent and might steal many votes from Biden. Didn't mention West, though.

I unsubscribed, as I have from the hundreds, maybe thousands, of emails I've received from Democrats since contributing to Sanders in 2014-16.

This article and headline were amended on 5 October 2023 after Cornel West announced he was no longer seeking the Green party’s nomination and instead running as an independent.

They could also have amended the 'hopeful' part after this announcement.

Of course he still has a right to run, but he's mostly been running as a headless chicken.

Regardless of your opinion of West, he has a right to run. You just don't have to support him if you don't want to.

That's something that the Democrats can't bring themselves to accept.

Like Dr. West, Biden has a right to run. In Biden's case, "run" is a euphemism for shuffling with a Parkinsonian gait and grabbing the nearest hand for support whether that person wishes to support him or not.

The Democrats can't accept that voters want a Presidential candidate who seems ready for the job.
