I wish for my own.... 😕😔

I cannot believe that at 6 and 7 gens here I personally fear the future of my grandkids' lives and freedoms to simply exist as individuals and think as they choose. 😶

Unfortunately, all 6 grandkids and 1 of 2 kids are deeply rooted in CA and do not seem to grasp what is happening- and other daughter is in NYS!

So all I can do is maintain a debt free no questions asked home/refuge at least kinda on the fringe of the worst crazy Blue zones, organize as much educational and food resources and independent sustainability here as can be subtly and affordably done, and make sure that fact is quietly in their awareness as things become more and more oppressive and unavoidable in the multiple core zones they all chose to stay in...

I feel you sdl5.

While not a native, I've been here since the mid 70's. Kicked around for a while and accidentally met the craziest, most unpredictable, meanest, most loving schizophrenic woman on the planet.

So I married her, and much to our constant amazement, we loved/hated each other so much we decided to buy a home, raise a family, and build a life here.

Sadly, we've determined that this state we've chosen to call home is getting crazier than we are. They've won. We no longer have the insanity required to compete with the pro's.

We live on the fringes ourselves, far enough from the Bay Area and it's refugees to have a little buffer from the professionally manufactured corporate beings who infect the place.

Or so we thought initially... the plague spreads.

Two of our three adult children want out as well, so we plan...
