US may give Ukraine ATACMS missiles that can hit Russia far beyond the front lines: report

I have a theory. The ATACMS missile has a maximum range of 300km. The Kerch bridge is the obvious target. The only area currently under Ukrainian control that can hit the bridge with these missiles is the Zaporozhia front.

I think the missiles are on the table to get Ukraine to keep pushing on that front, if only to increase the area the Russians have to search to find the launchers.

Maybe the Brandon administration thinks taking out the bridge will force the Russians to the negotiating table? Alternatively, a huge media win could mean they declare victory and shift their focus elsewhere.

For the Ukrainians, acquiring these missiles means they can keep morale up, delaying the inevitable collapse of the AFU.

But it means pulling men off of other fronts. The Russians are advancing towards Kransi Lyman. If they take it, that leaves one major road out of Siversk. Then we will get another Bakhmut, without Prighozin around to fuck it up.

Of course this is all amateur speculation! Take it with a mountain of salt.

Russia has been restrained with the Ukraine so far. This could see Moscow bombing Kiev into powder.

So... yet another pre-established 'red lines' that the US will cross.

Maybe that one will trigger the promised response this time? If not, never fear, pretty sure that there are more red lines for the US to cross until they finally get the WW3 they seem to want so desperately...

Maybe Russia is counting on BRICS to get the tantrum-throwing toddler that the US government is to sit the fuck down, but which one will come first? Multipolarity or WW3? Then again, one will probably follow the other.
