I just submitted this problem to the admins at ModSupport as they've been helpful with stupid things like this in the past. I think a lot of Reddit actions like removals and suspensions and probably even appeals are handled by their bots. I've had better luck dealing with the human beings at ModSupport and hopefully that will be the case this time as well.

I doubt the admins will remove the strike—in fact my suspension was extended 1 day after I filed the appeal—so at this point I’m resigned to just waiting it out.

I won’t be visiting WotB on Reddit anymore. I have too much shit associated with my account to risk getting it suspended over nonsense.

Any other subs you won't be visiting on Reddit? You know you're risking strikes due to anyone committing "report abuse" on any of the comments you report, and mods reporting the aforementioned "report abuse" (that was not you).....

Also, how many comments do you report. anyway? I've never heard of a multi-day ban from just one single report.
Again, it seems that it's more of an admin thing than a mod thing.

I very rarely report comments. Perhaps every couple weeks? Maybe once a month?

For the most part I’ve only been lurking on WotB lately. Been busy with my own subs since the Blackout.

I just happened to see this comment on my frontpage, and how wildly inappropriate trans brigading is on a thread about Gonzalo Lira being released from Ukrainian custody.

It probably doesn’t hurt that I was one of the mods that participated in the Blackout, as you all should know since we discussed it over MM.

I’m probably already on some shitlist somewhere, so I do not appreciate getting even more admin attention and my first strike over something so pointless.
