The primary voters don't select the Dem nominee. That is done by the DNC. The DNC doesn't care what the Dem base wants.

AOC, Sanders, and the rest of the "progressive" politicians are bending the knee to the DNC, as usual. Go along to get along, keep the Dem leadership happy, and maybe some fine day AOC herself will be "Mama Bear", just like her idol.

Well, we already know the Circle D Corporation doesn't care who their voters want. That's why they're using their "progressive" wing to preemptively manufacture consent for the daft bastard before selection officially kicks off in earnest.

He's the lesser evil their base has been trained and conditioned to believe is as good as it gets, and he's the guy they believe saved their owners demockracy from the fascist Trump regime.

He's still the hero nobody wanted who isn't Trump. That's all they need to VBNMW, and apparently, there are people who believe Sanders, Omar, and AOC, are something different than what they've shown themselves to be because they employ the "progressive democrat" oxymoron without a hint of irony.

That anyone's surprised Bernie and JusticeUs Democrats lined up behind their owners party's choice, and that jacobin is producing this scat as if AOC would have done anything else, tells me that Jacobin is little different than MSDNC when it comes to shoveling bullshit.
