      One of my favorites was banjolele. He came up with the funniest thing I ever read at DK. This was in the 2008 primary race. Hillary got a lot of delegates early on, but not enough to knock Obama out of the race. So then there was a long series of caucuses, and Obama was sweeping those, winning almost all the pledged delegates.

      Someone innocently asked "Is Hillary getting any?" Banjolele replied (from memory):

      Be good, banjo, be good... *snicker*... Snort!

      Reminds me of this time a GOP hearing backfired spectacularly (I know, I know, like that narrows it down)

      It was Hillary on Benghazi. Somehow the Republicans managed to made her look good; they even found the only iota of evidence in the universe that a Clinton had at one point done something nice for a human being for no obvious payoff, tried to hide it, got caught, and had to admit it on the record... but I digress. Some congresswoman insisted on knowing if Hillary was alone the whole night. Everyone was pretty punchy by that point and I actually laughed before Hillary did.

      Like, what were you expecting, congresswoman?

      "No I was with Huma... in bed... naked. You caught us, oh no you caught us"

      Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't think that "Russian (Putin) stooges" would tend to use phrases like:

      Ukraine and the US have been wearing the white hat of the good guy in this war. Supplying cluster munitions to Ukraine sullies the US image....

      You have to admire how finely-tuned their dissent detection systems are. Deviate 0.0001% from the approved narrative and klaxons start blaring, giant red flashing lights, next thing you know you're sitting blindfolded on a metal stool, desperately pleading that you hate Russians too, like really really really hate them, and you really really really love Gender Neutral Non-Binary Older Sibling.
